ABOUT
Lidice Diaz was raised and educated in Miami, Florida. After receiving two bachelor’s degrees from Florida International University, she began her career working in scientific research. However, her desire to serve her community more directly lead her to enroll in the Stempel School of Public Health, where she received a master’s in public health management and Policy. It was during her work as a graduate student in healthcare risk management and compliance that she came to appreciate the significant impact the law has on the daily lives of individuals and the power of legal advocacy. Upon completion of her graduate work she continued her service-oriented career as a quality compliance project lead for a local non-for-profit health insurance plan, where, for almost a decade, she worked diligently to ensure that plan members received the care they needed to maintain good health. After completing her Juris Doctorate at Florida International University College of Law, she used her knowledge of the insurance industry to promote the rights of homeowners who were wrongfully denied coverage under their policy, while working at a high volume litigation firm in Coral Gables. As a solo practitioner, Ms. Diaz is now dedicated to providing competent, personalized legal representation in a broad array of practice areas, with sub-specialties in healthcare and civil litigation matters.
